Challenge
Path Network aims to protect companies from cyber attacks by leveraging advanced performance monitoring tools. Their goal is to enhance online security, providing deeper insights into Internet-connected services and offering effective mitigation strategies.

Solution
Using blockchain technology as its foundation, I designed a user interface for a self-serve data monitoring platform. Users could initiate monitoring tasks and earn PATH tokens using the ERC-20 standard on the Ethereum network.

The UI included a native mobile app and web panel, providing seamless access across devices. Clickable prototypes and wireframes were instrumental in refining the interface, ensuring an optimal user experience and functionality.

Node App

The Path Node app allows thousands of smartphone users globally to download and activate a data monitoring application that runs seamlessly in the background, performing basic monitoring tasks.

Users earn Path tokens based on the Ethereum ERC20 blockchain standard for their contributions. Tasks include tracking packets, measuring PINGs, and conducting DNS and HTTP checks.

Users can conveniently monitor their job contributions and PATH token balance within the app. Although the app's functionality is straightforward, its core value lies in building a robust network of monitoring node

Network Monitoring

The primary interface of the platform comprised a browser-based web panel, offering users comprehensive oversight and monitoring capabilities for all their digital assets, ranging from websites to private networks. Users could access vital statistics such as uptime and downtime within specified date ranges, alongside visibility into ongoing jobs and incidents. Additionally, users had the ability to initiate trace routes and establish mitigations for threats like DDOS attacks, with rewards earned in PATH tokens, facilitated by blockchain technology.
