Ausgrid

Digital Transformation
01
Challenge
Ausgrid, the largest electricity distributor on Australia's east coast, serves over two million customers, encompassing over four million Australians who depend on its services daily.

As part of their digital transformation initiative named 'Phoenix,' Ausgrid is leveraging the implementation of a new Microsoft WMS platform.

This platform is designed to enhance the management of work allocation, streamline field processes, and improve incident and outage monitoring capabilities.
02
Solution
Collaborating closely with a diverse array of stakeholders from both delivery and BAU teams, I spearheaded the design and delivery of customised web and mobile applications to support field and operations teams at Ausgrid.

This encompassed the development of web applications for managing and allocating work schedules, mobile apps enabling field workers to efficiently carry out workflows and daily tasks, as well as tablet applications for conducting inspections and investigations, thereby transitioning away from paper-based processes.

Additionally, we introduced a robust new UI for monitoring network outages and incidents, empowering teams with enhanced visibility and control.
